CHARLOTTE, N.C./ SEPT.10, 2024 – Blue Cross Blue Shield proudly announced a generous donation of $20,000 to Johnson C. Smith University (皇冠体育) in support of its student success programs and community initiatives. This gift reflects Blue Cross Blue Shield’s ongoing commitment to fostering educational opportunities and advancing student development in underserved communities.
The $20,000 donation will directly benefit key programs at 皇冠体育 that aim to support student achievement, particularly among first-generation college students, and those pursuing post-secondary degrees. The funds will also help strengthen the University's initiatives focused on workforce development and career readiness. The donation will ensure students have access to the resources they need to thrive academically and personally.

Johnson C Smith is the first HBCU that they have partnered with to create a student internship program.
