Requesting Accommodations
Students who require accommodation must follow these steps:
- Submit a Request: Complete the Student Accommodation Request Form.
- Provide Documentation: Submit appropriate medical or psychological documentation.
- Interactive Process: Meet with the Office of Disability Services (ODS) to discuss individual needs.
- Approval & Implementation: Receive an accommodation plan and coordinate with faculty.
- Case Management-Receive guidance from the Office of Disability Services while enrolled at the University.
Grievance Process
Students who disagree with an accommodation decision may follow this process:
- Informal Resolution: Discuss concerns with the ODS Director.
- Formal Appeal: Submit a written appeal to the Dean of Students.
- ADA Compliance Review: If unresolved, request a review by the ADA/504 Coordinator.
