Basketball Alumnus develops training program, gives back to youth

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 21, 2019 –Former Johnson C. Smith University Golden Bull Richard Daniels, Jr., is giving back an opportunity that was given to him at a young age.

Daniels is the owner of a basketball training program called NeverOutWorked, or N.O.W. for short, which specializes in individual training that is tailored to each child, specifically from the ages of 8 and up. The training is for boys and girls.

Daniels is currently the junior varsity head basketball coach at Glenn High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

From 2010 until 2014, Daniels was a point guard for the Golden Bulls and was a key player for Coach Stephen Joyner, Sr. team. Daniels was also a member of the Golden Bulls golf team. He graduated from 皇冠体育 with a degree in sports management.
